Modernisation has taken place in most, if not all, outlets, bringing our accommodation providers in line with the rest of the country (and often in advance) without loosing the charm and 'feel' of the place. Also, many of the Holiday Parks in D&G are now award-winning sites. Gone are the days of very basic caravan parks with their 'Trailor Trash' appearance! Landscaped grounds, ecol-friendly planting schemes, updated and modernised amenities, full hook-ups, statics, tourers, campers, all can now find great pitches (weekly, monthly or all year - including Holiday Home Ownership) and set amidst the splendid - in fact, beautiful - surrounds of Dumfries & Galloway. It's The Natural Place! Before you book any accommodation online however, please ensure you have read the Terms & Conditions for your booking. If you have special dietery requirements, it is as well to contact the establishment to see if they can cater for you. (Most will try their best, but not every outlet has the facility to prepare specialised meals!) Disabled facilities, whilst still not the best, are being widely installed now, but check in advance.
